Pullach/Munich, February 2, 2024 – The premium mobility provider SIXT is further expanding its strategic brand presence in the professional sports environment by partnering with FC Bayern Basketball starting February 2024. The new partnership has been initially agreed until summer 2026.
As a platinum partner of FC Bayern Basketball, SIXT will have access to a comprehensive marketing package, including various branding and activation measures for the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the internationally renowned EuroLeague. This includes placing the SIXT logo on selected advertising spaces in the arena – such as the LED boards, the video cube above the court, and the LED screens at the basket. With this, the SIXT brand will be present at all home games, not only for the fans at BMW Park but also for TV viewers at home.
The partnership includes exclusive opportunities for hospitality, ticketing, and merchandising, which SIXT can use for raffles and customer loyalty programs. This also involves the creation of branded content to engage with followers on various social media platforms. Additionally, the partners agreed to participate in local social projects in the Greater Munich area, such as building basketball courts or providing training opportunities for young players.
