Pullach, October 2, 2023 – International mobility provider SIXT is one of the big winners at the prestigious European World Travel Awards 2023, securing awards in 18 categories. The company was honored as “Leading Business Car Rental Company” in Europe and as “Leading Car Rental Company” in numerous countries, including Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. SIXT also won awards in the categories “Europe’s Leading Chauffeur Company” and “Europe’s Leading Luxury Car Rental Company”.
The World Travel Awards have been presented to companies in the travel and tourism industry since 1993 to honor their outstanding achievements. The award is one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. Based on a vote among travel and tourism industry experts and consumers, the best product and service offerings of companies are selected at the country, regional and international level. The World Travel Awards are presented annually during a gala, this year in Batumi, Georgia. The event was attended by a distinguished audience of decision-makers and leaders from the tourism industry as well as the trade and consumer press.
