SIXT and IHCL launch international partnership
- Mobility service provider and Indian Hotels Company Limited to work together in the future
- Cooperation initially includes the loyalty programme TAJ InnerCircle
Berlin, 8 March 2019 – SIXT, one of the world’s leading mobility service providers, and the Indian hotel company Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) have concluded their first joint cooperation at the International Tourism Exchange (ITB) in Berlin. It is international in nature and the first step will be the hotel company’s “TAJ InnerCircle” loyalty programme. Joint customers will thus benefit from attractive advantages and discounts.
IHCL is South Asia’s largest hospitality company and a subsidiary of the Tata Group, one of the world’s largest global industrial companies. IHCL brings together a group of brands and businesses that offer a fusion of warm Indian hospitality and world-class service. These include hotel brands – Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger and India’s undisputed leader in airline catering, TajSATS.
IHCL has over 20,000 rooms across 12 countries. SIXT in turn maintains an international network with more than 2,200 stations in around 110 countries around the world. The new cooperation between the two companies gives members of the TAJ InnerCircle loyalty programme immediate access to SIXT’s high-quality services and comprehensive premium fleet. In addition, customers receive 100 Taj InnerCircle points for each rental with SIXT and 50 points for using the exclusive SIXT Limousine Service. The collected points can be redeemed for a variety of rewards and SIXT vouchers, that are valid for SIXT services in corporate countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain, the US and the Benelux countries. For SIXT and IHCL, the new cooperation is the first joint partnership. An expansion of the cooperation is planned.
