  • From April, customers can rent Porsche vehicles from SIXT in Germany, including models from the 911, Panamera and Taycan series
  • Vehicles will be available at SIXT branches in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich
  • Vinzenz Pflanz, Chief Business Officer at SIXT: “We are expanding our portfolio of German premium and luxury brands and underscoring our customer promise: SIXT offers a premium rental car experience in every single aspect.”
  • Cooperation also includes title sponsorship of Porsche’s international racing series, which will start as the “Porsche SIXT Carrera Cup Deutschland”

Pullach, March 25, 2024 – SIXT will infleet a three-digit number of brand-new Porsche vehicles in Germany over the next few years. The Porsche vehicles can be rented from April at SIXT branches in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich. The agreement covers the Porsche 911, Panamera, Cayenne, Taycan and Macan model series (newly available as an electric model from the second half of 2024).

A large and exclusive selection in the premium and luxury class has always been a central pillar of SIXT’s corporate strategy. By adding the latest Porsche models to its fleet in the sports car, convertible, SUV and saloon segments, SIXT will make this range even more diverse and attractive for its customers.

As part of the new partnership with Porsche, SIXT is also becoming the title sponsor of the renowned Porsche Germany racing series, which will be named “Porsche SIXT Carrera Cup Deutschland” (PSCCD) with start on the weekend of April 19-21 in Imola (Italy).

Sponsoring the racing series (with a total of 16 races in five countries) opens attractive opportunities for SIXT to further increase the international presence of the brand. For that, the SIXT logo will be visible on the more than 30 Carrera Cup vehicles as well as on other advertising spaces in the immediate vicinity of the respective races.

Vinzenz Pflanz, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Sixt SE: „SIXT at Porsche, Porsche at SIXT – the partnership creates synergies that benefit our customers. With the new Porsche vehicles in our premium fleet, we not only want to excite our local customers, but also international tourists visiting Germany. On top, we are expanding our portfolio of German premium and luxury brands and underscoring our customer promise: SIXT offers a premium rental car experience in every single aspect.”

Alexander Pollich, Managing Director of Porsche Deutschland GmbH: “SIXT stands for an active culture of innovation backed by strong technological expertise. This makes the company a very good fit for the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. The 2024 racing season includes a rich line-up of exciting international racetracks with races in Imola, Italy, and Budapest. We’re looking forward to starting the season together with our new partner SIXT.”
