- Mobility service provider opens a new station at Cork Airport
- Dublin Airport station completely renewed and in a standout position
Cork/ Dublin, 8th March 2017 – Premium services on the Emerald Isle: Sixt, one of the world’s leading mobility suppliers, has built up its presence in Ireland by adding a new station at Cork Airport in Ireland’s second largest city. This airport is the country’s second biggest transport hub after Dublin Airport. The new station is right in the terminal area, making it quick and easy for any passenger to reach. Customers can look forward to the familiar premium services there, and can choose from a large fleet of high-quality vehicles. All of the vehicles are equipped with an RFID (radio-frequency identification) system, which means the time of collecting and returning the rental vehicle is documented to the minute, and the car-park’s barriers open automatically when you drive in and out.
Customers at the airport belonging to Ireland’s capital city, Dublin, will now find the Sixt station in a highly visible position in the front area of the terminal. The station has been fully renewed and has spacious parking areas in the multi-storey car-park next door. This makes it easy for private and business customers to continue their journey comfortably in the Sixt vehicle of their choice. Vehicles at Dublin Airport also have RFID technology – a very special extra for customers.
Detlef Krehahn, Senior Vice President Sixt International Franchise: “Our new location at Cork Airport represents a further step in expanding our presence in Ireland. Our aim is to offer our customers comprehensive mobility solutions in every area, and to do so as conveniently as possible. Our refurbished station at Dublin Airport also follows this aspiration. Its new position and expanded capacity will give our customers a lot of added value.”
