According to preliminary figures, consolidated earnings before taxes(EBT) totalled around EUR 57 million in Q3 thanks to a combination ofresurging domestic demand in the Vehicle Rental unit's corporate andprivate customer business, continually strong international growth, and thestrong utilization of the rental fleet in conjunction with low refinancingcosts. This figure includes EUR 3.5 million in positive non-recurringeffects from the liquidation of interest rate futures contracts.Following business development during the third quarter and businessperformance recorded so far in the fourth quarter, the Managing Boardexpects consolidated EBT for the full fiscal year 2013 to outperform lastyear's total of EUR 118.6 million. The Board's previous projections hadassumed a marginally lower EBT.
